Well, Boo Boo & I survived the TS ~ it got a bit windy and we had massive amounts of rain...amazingly enough my backyard did not flood....like it did in 2004 when we had Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Ivan pass through. I actually got called out at work even though many of us had been put on administrative leave due to the storm. What bad guys do during inclement weather like this is beyond my comprehension. They won't put their badness to rest for anything sometimes. Errrr....
Now, it's peaceful out and the grass appears to have sprouted an additional 5 inches within a day. I guess my lawn guy is going to be happy about that!
(yes...I am capable of blogging about something other than geeky tekkie topics...) ~~~ wait! withdrawal symptoms appearing...fortunately my cell service remained active, but I did lose power for a short period of time, and prior to that lost the internet connection (horrors!) for just a bit. Since I have my crackberry, I was still connected... *phew*....maybe I should reactivate Boo Boo's crackberry, lol.
